Eight years ago he was invited by the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon to organise the Bioethics Centre, in its educational and research areas, having directed five Masters in Bioethics that are currently in course. |
He has published, in national and foreign journals, five hundred and forty eight scientific works, most of them concerning the specialty of Ophthalmology, for which he is Professor, having been the Director of the Gama Pinto Ophthalmology Institute and of the Ophthalmology Unit in the Hospital Escolar de Santa Maria, where he worked until retirement. |
